Thanks again to all of you, Gwen, Phil, and David for making our wedding wonderful! I have trying to contact Jim Bruno at Star Studio and his phone is disconnected. I know you all have worked with him in the past so I was wondering if you had heard anything about his business? My friend used him for her wedding 3 years ago and his pictures were wonderful. I hope I am worrying for nothing. Please let me know if you have heard anything.

When wedding vendors are unprofessional, it makes us all look bad. Is anyone else having problems with this vendor? Does anyone know how to reach him? I have never met the man. Let me know. Thanks

I didn't know this post was here... I am so touched by all who have been so willing to help me find out what happened to Jim Bruno. Although it has been two weeks and I have still not received a response from Jim, I am overwhelmed with all this support. Thank you so much.. I'll keep you updated. Deena

My wedding was 10-20-07 and I had my pictures take by Mark who said he was Jim Bruno partner at the time. We delt with Jim up until that day and after that day. We did get our proofs. We also decided to buy the rights and have obtained a cd of them from him a while ago thank god. He had not given us our complete package we paid for. The only photo we have received is our proofs. I sent an email with what we wanted and happened to catch him at the studio one day in February. He said they would be done in a few weeks. Last week I tried to contact him and his number was disconnected. We have sent emails asking what was going on. Our most recent email said we were going to dispute the charge if he did not get back to us. We still have not received an email back. I will contact Anne.
Hi! My name is Kari Graniello and was married on 04/5/2008.....Jim told us the pics would be ready in about 3 weeks and I am still waiting! I can't get ahold of him and have emailed, tried faxing, and and calling!!! He will not answer and I even went to his business today and the building is for sale!!! I walked to the door and he left the number (480)228-2515 and stated this was the number to star studio....I still can't get ahold of him...I don't know what else to do...Please let me know if anyone knows anything!!! Kari... Have you contacted Anne yet? I know she is still very interested in hearing our story. I got married the day after you and had no idea that Jim was running into trouble. Jim Bruno also scammed me! I was married on 4/5/08 and Mark was our photographer. I have not recevied anything from Jim!!!! We paid him thousands of dollars and now he is now where to be found! Well, I hope Jim makes good on all his promises. Anne says that she is going to follow up on him for the next couple of months. Christine, Kari amd I got our DVDs. I am going elsewhere for the prints but am very happy that I have something! Thanks to everyone who helped get us through this!

Has anyone got their pictures from Jim since Anne did the report? He promised me by July 1st i would have all my pictures and now he is not returning phone calls or emails. I don't know what to do??? I did get my copyrights to the pics but have not gotten any of the prints I paid for which was a lot...I have kind of given up on the prints, which means we did lose a lot of money...At least I have my copyrights but I still feel that the problem did not resolve anything! Hopefully you will all get yours too! Kari
I got my proofs and Jim and I agreed when I picked them up that if he gave me the Copyrights, then I would consider us even. I got my prints from another photographer, Colling Photography, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Good luck to all of you. I didn't want to chase Bruno after all the stress he put us through. I'm sad to hear he's not making good on his promises.

went to Jim's house yesterday to try to get my pics and of course he did not answer the door. He still is not answering his phone!!! Has anyone talked to him?? I want my pictures!!!!!I'm not giving up i paid him way too much money to just let it go.
I also still haven't gotten my pictures. My husband got a hold of him once on the phone. When my husband talked to him Jim Bruno was so mean to mu husband. He said he had no clue who we were and just to e-mail him our info and he would figure it out and send us our pictures. Well he never did. Since then we have called and e-mailed so many times but we have nothing. This is killing me. I just want my pictures. I also want the rights to them. I don't want him owning anything that doesn't belong to him!
Our names are Mark and Linda, We had our wedding November 2, 2007. We never received our albums, pictures or the rights to the CD. We tried to follow up with Channel 15, then Anne left the station and no one else would call us back or follow up. Our idea is to see if all of us collectively contact the District Attorney and put Jim Bruno in prison as this may be a felony. Our email to contact is omaviadirect@aol.com
I just saw this post for the first time and had no idea that I wasn't the only one who didn't receive her photos. Has this been resolved at all? Also, if everyone has given up on Jim, has anyone taken their proofs elsewhere to make their album? If so, where?
