Ahhhhhhhh spring, why must I work? Oh yes, cats must eat. But spring is the beginning of so much—including new advertisers and this issue contains an abundance of them. We are excited to welcome Sergio, a very talented photographer from Tucson (but don’t worry, he covers the state like the sun). You must see his work on his web site to observe his remarkable art.

Simply Elegant Decor and Floral Design is a business that has just expanded to a bigger workroom on Seventh Street in Phoenix. I call it a workroom because it is a place to choose your linen, actually put it on the table and match your chairs and covers, china, silver, goblets, flowers, centerpieces, room décor, specialty draping and anything else you can dream of, in one place! You leave knowing how your wedding will look.

We welcome the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Do you dream of a sophisticated wedding in an art museum? Check them out, you’ll be surprised at how lovely and affordable your options can be.

Brian Douglas Photography is new to the publication but not new to wedding photography. For years he has been that professional who knows where to be and when. I have had an opportunity to witness what a professional does, it is amazing.

Salon Novella and Spa will do everyone’s hair and makeup then send their travel team to keep you refreshed and beautiful for the rest of the day.

Photography by Verdi has joined us. Rich and Mindi have been award winning photographers in Manhattan and the Hamptons but like most of us have found what a wonderful place Phoenix is. So together with their basset hound, Floyd, they have bought a home here. They will still be going back to New York in the summers when the wedding season is quieter here. Meet with them quickly or their calendar will book up just like all the other good ones.

Last but not least, meet Curtis Whipple, a DJ extraordinaire. A west coast disc jockey with Arizona sensibilities. He’s ingenious!

We are excited to welcome them all and are proud to represent them. This is what makes publishing so much fun. I truly enjoy meeting all these great people and helping them grow their businesses. Don't think that just because they are paying me for advertising so I sing their praises. Quite the opposite! We are proud to say not everyone is welcome to advertise here and we have turned down money if their standards and business practices are not to our high standards.
